After watching this latest episode, I looked back on it and went, "They did all that? In one episode?" In particular, I wish they'd lingered a bit longer on the Devil's Nest crew, since Greed's connection with them becomes pretty darn important later on, and I didn't get any of that feeling of comradery. I really, really hope they slow down the pacing a bit with the next episode, although judging by the preview, that isn't going to happen, unfortunately. It'll be interesting to see what people who are anime-only fans will think now that FMA:B will be covering completely different territory from the first anime.
But, hey, yay for the Xingians next week! And yay for doing a good job of introducing Selim! I was kind of disappointed in how they handled Bradley, having him show off his mad sword skills right in the first episode so that he got filed under "dangerous scary person" way earlier than he really should have. But Selim was totally adorable.
